I was born and raised in Bowie Maryland with my parents and my brother. My parents, now retired, were hardworking middle class. They instilled in me the importance of honesty, trust, respect, ethics, and hard work.
I went to college at Frostburg State University in western Maryland. I also went to Hood College in Fredrick for my master’s degree. I studied Computer Science which has taught me how to analyze problems and come up with long-term solutions. I am currently a Systems Analyst. As a Systems Analyst, I work on customer issues and find solutions which best fit their needs. I currently live in beautiful Montgomery County with my wife, Janis, and our dog, Wiki, and our cat, size_t.
In college for my undergrad I worked over the summers while living on and earning minimum wage. When I graduated I lived paycheck to paycheck and had to worry if I had enough money to pay rent and afford groceries. While working my full-time job, I attended graduate school. I have seen friends and family struggle with student debts. I have seen people start their careers and have to put off things like buying a house, getting married, and having kids. I’ve seen friends and family struggle to get by while working a full time job.
I am running for Maryland Delegate because I would like to think at this time we can do better. I would like to take the things I have learned and experienced and improve our great state so it can be better. I would like to take the experience I have with finding solutions for others and find the solutions to your needs and the needs of Marylanders.
I want to bring bold, progressive ideas that help the working class of our state.
Vote Brian for a better Maryland!
